Hello lovelies! This blog isn't really being maintained anymore in favour of posting on my own folio website and Twitter. You can find my folio and Twitter at:

Reading through Behance's twitter posts, I stumbled across this website:
http://the99percent.com/
It's a website that focuses on design in business, and is based on the saying "Genius is 1% inspiration, and 99% perspiration" said by Edison.
I cannot believe how helpful the tips section is, and hoping that I can start being more productive from taking up the advice. The article about perfectionism is probably the biggest eye opener. While I do believe in deadlines and always meet them when set infront of me, I work myself silly trying to clean up everything and lose focus on the big picture sometimes.
Long story short, a good website!

Extreme Origami
With my recent website theme change to origami and plants, I did some research into some interesting origami figures to use for my background, and I stumbled upon this beast. "Surely, this could not be a single sheet of paper!" I thought to myself, but sure enough it is. Taking 40 hours or so over several months, this pieces was done by Satoshi Kamiya.

Melbourne Joomla! Day 2010
This year I had the pleasure of being invited along to Melboune's Joomla! Day 2010. I've only recently started using CMS to build my portfolio, and I found the conference to be a great help. In future I hope to give back to the community by designing and creating my own templates.

Sketches
These are a bit late but here's the workings done in my journal to work through some problem solving and fill in the blanks in the storyboard:
